Rachel Shirley and I combined our efforts this thesis film cycle and made our film "Lola the Great" which is now officially locked, thus winding down a long, grueling process. Above is our poster (it's not the final version, my name is temped in for the music which is not accurate at all). I'm so proud of our work; we fought through rain and heat, strapped a RED Dragon onto a paddle boat to film a mermaid scene, Rachel learned After Effects in order to do our FX, and I picked up Photoshop to make the poster. It truly was a labor of love, and sheer stubbornness at times haha.
ALSO, another cool thing that happened lately is that it was announced that I, and a few other of my FSU Peers (shout out to Jake Hammond!) were selected as "Best Of" at the Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase! Subsequently, our films will be screening at the Best of Brouhaha Side Bar at the Florida Film Festival! So if you happen to be in Florida in April stop by and see a lot of great shorts!
